This committee sets annual goals, selects charities, assembles/distributes kits, collects/delivers quilts and other care projects. Our two current charity projects are:
small quilts for the Montgomery County Christmas Store (find the pattern)
bags for the Women's Resource Center for the New River Valley

TQP Members will gather to make microwavable bowl cozies for the Virginia Quilt Museum to sell in the gift shop. Please bring your sewing machine and 100% cotton thread.
August 5 | 6:00-8:00
Up-cycle or recycle garments from your wardrobe or ones you find in a thrift shop using simple stitches. This class will demonstrate a wide variety of ideas. Contact Blacksburg Library to register.
